Hi! I’m Angie. I love to travel and explore and want to see it all. Follow along with me on my 9-month, around-the-world cruise with Royal Caribbean aboard the Serenade of the Seas, follow on the #ultimateworldcruise . I recently learned I have the BRCA2 gene which means I am at a MUCH higher risk for developing breast or ovarian cancer. This was sadly not surprising news as both my parents passed when they were 65 from cancer. So, seeing as it seems I have an expiration date it’s time to do all the things, visit all the places, and live now. I underwent a preventative double mastectomy in January 2023 to help lower my risk of developing breast cancer and will eventually also have a hysterectomy to remove my risk of ovarian cancer. Here to tell my story, live my life while it's mine to live, and document it all along the way.
