Essentially, that of an elongated balcony cabin. The bedroom area is made up of a queen size bed that can be split into two singles. Opposite the bed is a large, flat screen tv. The vanity contains some extra storage as well as a telephone and here is where you’ll find the new Australian style electrical outlet along with two USB A outlets. There are also two US style outlets here. It’s good practice to bring electrical adaptors for both US and European outlets when you travel on a cruise ship. The wall lamp has an additional USB A outlet and a reading lamp, plus there’s one of those useless hairdryers. On the opposite side of the room is the mini bar, there’s a small bar fridge located in the cabinet underneath. We’ll take a closer look at the living room in a moment, but for now we’ll head out to the spacious balcony. This particular cabin was located far forward on Baja Deck 11, which means that it was exposed to the elements without shelter. There are some lounge chairs with ottomans and a small table. Back inside, you can appreciate the ample space the mini suite provides. The living room has its own flat screen tv and a bed that can be converted into a sofa bed. Select mini suites can cater for up to 4 guests. Walking through the bedroom, we pass a small wall mounted console which is a great spot to keep sunglasses or your medallion handy. In typical Princess style, there’s an open format walk in wardrobe with a decent amount of hanging space, as well as a wardrobe with shelves and a safe. The bathroom door is off the walk in wardrobe. Aside from extra space inside the cabin itself, one of the other perks of a mini suite is the larger bathroom. With a tub, extra floor space and an expanded vanity, the extra room is welcome. The bathroom was in fair condition, though was beginning to show its age in some places and although clean, it could probably have used a good scrub in between the tiles. Unlike P&O, Princess offers rolled pool towels on the deck chairs by the main pool and so these aren’t located in your cabin. Thanks for watching!
