This is the scene from the Clarion Hotel PHL Airport as the check-in process for the NCL Jewel is taking place. Cruisers are required to drop their luggage and check in at the hotel. They will then board a motorcoach for the 6-mile journey to the pier. While slightly inconvenient, the process seems to be running smoothly so far. This marks the return of cruising from Philadelphia after a 15+ year hiatus. A new cruise terminal is under construction but was not completed in time for the beginning of the season.
