There is a syndrome that is rarely discussed, though many cruisers will have experienced it - disembarkation syndrome, or 'dock rock'. This odd sensation can be distressing and can even leave sufferers feeling ill - hence another name, 'land sickness'. This video discusses some aspects of this experience.
