I Got Drunk, Fell on Her Foot, Threw Up... and Somehow She Married Me
Every couple has a "how we met" story... but ours is definitely not your typical fairy tale. When we first met, I somehow managed to make the absolute worst first impression imaginable. After having way too much to drink, I literally fell on Bita's foot, made a complete fool of myself... and then topped it all off by getting sick and throwing up. At that point, any reasonable person would have walked away and never answered another phone call. But somehow... she agreed to go out with me the very next day. Looking back, neither of us can explain it. Maybe she saw something in me that no one else did. Maybe she believed in second chances. Or maybe... as she finally admitted 36 years later... she was just desperate! 😂 Thankfully, whatever the reason, she took a chance on me, and that one very questionable decision turned into 36 amazing years of marriage, countless adventures, unforgettable memories, and enough stories to keep everyone laughing.
