My First Time on the Alaska Marine Highway | Whittier to Juneau | Day 1
I’m starting this adventure in Whittier, Alaska by checking out of my hotel, grabbing my bags, and making the short walk over to the Alaska Marine Highway terminal for an early morning departure aboard the M/V Kennicott. This is my first ever journey on the Alaska Marine Highway, and I’ll be spending the next 41 hours making my way from Whittier to Juneau. On day one, I take you along as I get settled into my roomette stateroom, explore the ship, check out the food options, and wander through some of the spaces I discover along the way.
