Grand Cayman Turtle Centre: We Did It OURSELVES! đ˘ Public Bus + Swim With Turtles
đ˘ SWIMMING WITH TURTLES IN GRAND CAYMAN â AND WE DID IT ON OUR OWN! Well... we decided to find out for ourselves! Instead of booking a cruise excursion, we walked from the cruise port to the public bus station, hopped on a local bus and made our way to the Cayman Turtle Centre. Then, after spending the day exploring, we made our way back to the cruise port the same way. And this wasn't just a quick look at the turtles! đ˘ WHAT WE DID AT THE TURTLE CENTRE: ⢠Swam and snorkeled with the turtles in the Turtle Lagoon ⢠Spent time in the large freshwater pool ⢠Checked out the restaurant and bar area ⢠Explored the turtle exhibits and outdoor tanks ⢠Got up close to the young turtles in the touch tanks ⢠Saw where visitors can get into the water and gently touch the turtles ⢠Explored the grounds and checked out what the Turtle Centre has to offer ⢠And, of course, figured out how to get back to the cruise port! The Cayman Turtle Centre offers visitors the chance to swim and snorkel alongside young green sea turtles and other marine life, while the freshwater pool provides another place to cool off. The Centre also has supervised turtle encounters where guests can get close to the younger turtles. đ THE BEST PART FOR CRUISERS?
