MSC has primarily served as a European cruise line, and it’s still adapting to the US market. Some things still feel European, like the use of the metric system as measurement, and other things aren’t necessarily cultural, but are distinctly MSC… a bit different than most of the other cruise lines. Oh, and pro-tip? Never charge your stateroom account to your debit card. Aside from the loss of points (I’m a big credit card points person), you’ll incur a fee since MSC isn’t headquartered in the US.
