Losing $1,200 on a cruise absolutely sucked — there’s no pretending otherwise. 😬 But there’s an important difference between losing money you planned to gamble and losing money you needed for your regular expenses. Before we ever stepped onboard Navigator of the Seas, we had already decided what we were comfortable spending in the casino and treated it as part of our entertainment budget. Would I rather have won? Obviously! 😂 But the loss was disappointing — not financially damaging.
