True Story: My Cat Covered in POOP, Attached to My Head... at 35,000 Feet!
Flying with a cat seemed like a good idea... until it turned into one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. This clip comes from our interview on Kat & Matt's hit livestream, "The Morning After," where we shared one of our favorite (and most disgusting) family travel stories. Everything started when our cat suddenly had explosive diarrhea inside its travel carrier while we were flying. Within minutes, the smell had spread through the cabin, and I knew I had to do something before the entire plane revolted. I grabbed the carrier and squeezed into the tiny airplane bathroom, thinking I'd clean up the mess and be back in my seat in a couple of minutes. I couldn't have been more wrong. The second I opened the carrier, our terrified cat launched straight onto my head... completely covered in runny poop. As I tried to keep the cat from escaping the bathroom, it clawed my scalp while cat poop ran down my face, into my shirt, and all over me. Somehow, inside one of the smallest bathrooms imaginable, I had to wrestle the cat back into the carrier, clean everything up, and somehow walk back through the airplane pretending everything was normal. Looking back now, it's hilarious... At the time, it was absolute chaos. This story was shared during our appearance on Kat & Matt's live show, "The Morning After," where we talked about crazy travel experiences, unforgettable moments, and plenty of laughs.
