This island has no cars, no traffic - Gili Air, an island 2 hrs off central Bali, a hidden gem that I've always been curious to explore. When you look at the map of the islands, there are actually 3 Gili Islands - Gili Air, Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno. We've seen the other 2 Gili islands by island hopping - Gili Trawangan was a little too busy, loud, big party vibe for our liking, and Gili Meno was the least developed but perfect for turtle visiting, while Gili Air has a more chill, relaxing vibe yet still lively with so much warm soul to it. So, we're so thankful we chose to stay at Gili Air and here are some highlights.
