Alaska Disney Cruise: We LOVED Our Self-Guided E-Bike Experience

🚢 Disney Cruise Line Alaska | Disney Magic 7-Night Alaska Cruise | Skagway E-Bike Adventure Welcome back to our Disney Cruise Line Alaska series! Today we're exploring the port of Skagway, and this ended up being one of our favorite days of the entire trip! Instead of booking an excursion through Disney Cruise Line, we decided to explore on our own and walked into town to Klondike Electric Bikes, where we booked their Self-Guided Tour to Dyea with Lunch for $109 per person. We absolutely LOVED having the freedom to explore at our own pace, choose where we wanted to spend our time, and get away from some of the crowds. Along the way, we visited the Skagway Cemetery, saw Reid Falls, stopped at an overlook for incredible views of Skagway, explored Naku Bay and Driftwood Beach, and eventually made our way out to the Dyea Flats. And then came one of our favorite moments of the entire Alaska trip: a peaceful charcuterie box lunch overlooking the Dyea Flats. After several busy days of cruising and excursions, having a quiet moment surrounded by Alaska's incredible scenery was exactly what we needed. After a VERY fast ride back into town, we spent some time wandering through the shops before heading back to the Disney Magic. That evening, we put our music knowledge to the test with 90s Music Trivia and then headed to dinner at Animator's Palate, which quickly became one of my favorite restaurants onboard! It was a day full of adventure, beautiful scenery, great food, and the freedom to explore Skagway on our own terms. I couldn't be happier with our choice of excursion!
