Virgin Voyages "Valiant Lady" - Arrival at Greenock, Scotland 08-AUG-26
Saturday 8th August 2026 at 8am saw the arrival of Virgin Voyages "Valiant Lady" at Greenock's Ocean Terminal. Conditions were perfect for the arrival from Dublin, Ireland to Scotland. The DJI Mini Pro 4K drone was launched from near Scott's Restaurant on a mission to capture the docking at Greenock. On the second battery, I took the drone down low and POW connection with RC lost!!!!! The steel of the ship's frame blocked the signal. Thankfully it responded to "Return to Home" (RTH) and that is the bit where it eclipses the back of the ship as it returns to Scotts!!
