Nor Cruises (Noresman Cruises), the Norwegian start-up that signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) for up to five cruise ships, could be marketing its planned brand as Norsemen Cruises. The company is preparing to build an all-suite, ultra-luxury product built around two accommodation categories: a 99-square-meter Celestial Oasis duplex suite with a veranda of more than 20 square meters, and a 50-square-meter, two-room Elysium Sky Suite with an 11-square-meter veranda. Other listed features include soundproof work pods, meeting rooms and Starlink connectivity. The company said the ships will pair high-capacity battery banks with LNG engines, allowing 25 hours in port and 16 hours of slow steaming on battery power alone.
