Cruise news today. A Silversea cruise has been hit with a gastrointestinal outbreak this past week. Following an event on the Silver Muse last week, passengers aboard the Silver Dawn reported symptoms during a 12-night sailing that left Southampton earlier this month. Celebrity Cruises is scaling back its Premium Access Pass. The line says it will drop two perks — the embarkation day lunch and reserved theater seating — citing limited capacity. Guests sailing before August 1st, 2026 will still receive them. The package will continue to include premium Wi-Fi, room service, priority luggage delivery, express debarkation, and a premium drinks package. Carnival Cruise Line continues to push culinary boundaries. The line is teaming up with an ice cream company to create a flavor you might not expect: sunscreen.The companies say the quirky creation is meant to capture the feeling of summer winding down, though no actual sunscreen is in the recipe.
