Fresh Fish, Churros & Vibes in Ensenada 🇲🇽
We spent our day in Ensenada, Mexico, walking from the cruise port straight into a food lover’s dream — no excursion needed! After a short walk through town and some local shopping, we made our way to Mercado Negro, Ensenada’s famous fish market. We picked out a fresh red snapper, had it cleaned right there, and brought it to a nearby restaurant to be fried up — crispy, juicy, and served with rice, salad, and all the sides. While we ate, a mariachi band came by and played live music — adding the perfect soundtrack to our meal. After lunch, we explored more of the area, stopping at a churro stand for some fresh-fried churros, and then visited a local candy shop where we saw whole tamarinds tossed in chili and sugar — the perfect sweet-heat finish. We wrapped up our food tour with a photo at the iconic Ensenada sign, then headed back to the ship full and happy. Whether you’re cruising or just visiting, this easy, affordable food adventure is one you don’t want to miss! #EnsenadaFoodTour #CruisePortEats #MercadoNegro #StreetFoodMexico #EnsenadaMexico #MexicanFoodLovers #FoodNearCruisePort #ChurrosAndSnapper #bws_excursions #CruiseLife #CarnivalCruiseVlog #FoodieTravel #LocalEats
