Pompeii | Disney Dream | 7-night Cruise of the Mediterranean | July 2026

Hi Mom, we’re in Naples today, and we have a four‑and‑a‑half‑hour excursion in Pompeii. But first, we’re greeted with a little pixie dusting from fellow cruisers — gifts hanging from the seahorse outside our door — and it totally makes my morning. We spend the day wandering through the ruins and learning about the history, including how cameos are carved from seashells. Back on the ship, we head to Cabanas for our first lunch there. It’s chaotic, and I suddenly appreciate the table‑service restaurants a lot more. After that, I have a deep‑tissue massage — not relaxing, but I definitely needed it. We explore more of the ship, watch us sail away, catch the sunset, have dinner at Royal Palace, and end the night with a meet‑and‑greet with Pluto and Stitch.
