My wife and I completed the 14-day "Northern Europe from New York to Reykjavik: Iceland" cruise aboard the Norwegian Star from August 7th to August 21st, 2025. Our journey began with a day at sea, followed by visits to the Canadian ports of Halifax, Sydney, and Corner Brook. After two more days of sailing, we were scheduled to arrive in Nuuk, Greenland. Unfortunately, a forecasted storm prevented the ship from docking in Nuuk. Instead, we arrived in Paamiut the following day. After exploring the small town, we spent the next day witnessing the spectacular glaciers and surroundings of Prince Christian Sound. Another day at sea brought us to Iceland, where we visited Ísafjörður, Akureyri, and Grundarfjörður before concluding our long journey in Reykjavik the following day.
