Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the ship’s return from its previous sailing was delayed, pushing check-in for the next 4-night Moreton Island cruise to the evening of April 19. Boarding will now begin at 8:30 p.m., with departure expected closer to midnight instead of the originally scheduled 3:30 p.m. Guests have been reassigned later arrival windows and are asked not to come early. The cruise line has apologized for the disruption but has not announced compensation. The delay follows a search operation off Australia’s east coast after a man in his 70s reportedly went overboard.
