Save this before your next cruise — tender ports can be chaotic if you don’t know this: 1. Your ship card IS your ticket home - No card, no re-board. Take your photo ID too. Leave the passport in the safe unless the port requires it. 2. It’s not first-come, first-serve at first - You need a tender ticket number from guest services / the app early that morning. Suites and excursion guests go first. Get in line early or you’ll wait an hour. 3. Hands free, sea legs on - It’s rocky getting on/off. Wear non-slip shoes, ditch the big tote, hold the rail. If you get seasick, take something 30 mins BEFORE. 4. Boats stop early - Last tender is NOT when all-aboard is. Last tender is usually 1 hour before. Miss it and you are watching your ship sail away. 5. No private boat until you’re cleared - You can’t just hop a water taxi back. You have to be cleared by the port and return on a cruise tender unless staff says otherwise. Have you ever missed a tender? Tell me below. #CruiseTips #Cruisetok #TenderPort #CruiseLife #TravelTips
