Ever wondered is Bermuda's sand is actually PINK? We headed to Horseshoe Bay to see it for ourselves, then wandered through St. George's — Bermuda's oldest town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are on the Norwegian Aqua so these were both half day excursions included in one vlog showing things to do off the ship in Bermuda. Hopefully wheelchair users and other people with disabilities will find this information helpful. Here's what we found: - Getting there: St. George's by accessible ferry was great, but the minibuses to Horsehoe Bay were not accessible. You can schedule a private accessible taxi to get there - more information about transportation options is on my Dockyard Review Guide. - Beach access: I didn't see any mobimats. Horsehoe Bay Live seems like a great resource for both beach wheelchairs and access by all terrain vehicles - but I didn't use them myself. - St. George's: The main part of town near the ferry port and town hall was pretty accessible as far as sidewalks, but leaving that area was not. Additionally, most of the museums and tourist destinations were not wheelchair accessible. Have accessibility needs we didn't cover?
