Carnival Cruise Line is rerouting the Carnival Sunshine, which was set to sail to Bermuda from Norfolk. Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas has officially begun service. The 250,000 gross registered ton ship departed Port Canaveral on Saturday for its first cruise, sailing to the Bahamas and the company’s private island, CocoCay. MSC Cruises is adjusting the itinerary for its Jan 2026 World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica due to conflicts in the Middle East. The 118-night, $16,000 cruise was set to visit 47 destinations across 32 countries, but the line has decided to avoid the Red Sea region for safety reasons.
