DAY 12 – OUR LAST LAND DAY | GIBRALTAR | WALKING ACROSS AN ACTIVE RUNWAY! ✈️ Today is Day 12 of our P&O Britannia adventure and sadly, it’s our last land day of the cruise! 😢 We arrive VERY early into the beautiful country of Gibraltar, with an misty sailing into port almost like something out of a horror movie But our day starts with something you might not expect… we get to walk across Gibraltar’s active airport runway! Yes, you read that right! It’s not every day you get the chance to cross an active runway on foot! From there, we head to the high street to explore, browse the shops and take in the sights, with plenty of walking along the way. After a busy morning, we make our way back to Britannia for our last sail away.
