🚢 Is Mariner of the Seas Too Old? | Full Ship Tour & Honest Review (2026) Mariner of the Seas first entered service in 2003, and after more than twenty years at sea, we wanted to answer one question: Is this classic Royal Caribbean ship still worth sailing in 2026? After spending four nights onboard, we were pleasantly surprised. In this video, we're taking you on a full ship tour and sharing our honest thoughts about what we loved, what felt dated, and whether we would sail Mariner of the Seas again. 🛳️ In This Video: 🏛️ Royal Promenade 🍕 Cafe Promenade and pizza 🏀 NBA Finals atmosphere and Playmakers Sports Bar 🏊 Pool deck and Solarium 🌊 FlowRider and waterslides ⚽ Sports court, pickleball, volleyball, and activities 🏋️ Fitness center and ocean views 🚶 Why we love the outdoor promenade deck 🍽️ Windjammer and Main Dining Room food 🎭 Entertainment and the ice show 🍹 Bamboo Room and nightlife 🎰 Casino Royale and our thoughts on smoking in the casino 👨👩👧👦 Families and crowd demographics 🛏️ Junior Suite review and what showed the ship's age 🚪 Our biggest frustration: disembarkation ⭐ Final thoughts and whether we'd sail Mariner of the Seas again Things We Loved ❤️ ✅ Excellent food ✅ Friendly crew ✅ Great entertainment ✅ Never felt crowded ✅ Modern fitness center ✅ Outdoor promenade deck for walking ✅ Relaxing atmosphere ✅ Plenty of activities for families and adults Things We Didn't Love ❌ Dated cabin furniture ❌ Smaller pool deck compared with newer ships ❌ Smoke throughout the casino ❌ Fewer specialty dining options ❌ Slow disembarkation One thing we especially love about Voyager-class ships is the lower promenade deck. Many newer ships, including the Quantum Class, don't have a wraparound outdoor deck where you can walk around the ship and enjoy the ocean views. For us, that's one of the most relaxing parts of cruising.
