WE TOOK A TRIP TO SAONA ISLAND… AND WOW 🌴 | Dominican Republic
We took a trip to Saona Island… and WOW! 🌊🇩🇴 During our cruise stop in the Dominican Republic, we booked the Stunning Saona Island excursion through Marella Cruises — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. We were picked up directly from the cruise port, then travelled by coach to Bayahibe, where we hopped on a boat bound for Saona Island. After arriving, we spent time soaking up the white-sand beaches, crystal-clear water, and unreal Caribbean views. To top it all off, we made the return journey by speedboat back to Bayahibe, before taking the coach back to the cruise port. Sun, sea, and nonstop island vibes — this excursion truly lived up to its name. If you’re cruising with Marella or planning a day trip in the DR, this is one experience you don’t want to miss!
