Cruising and Passports 🚢
Before you set sail on your next international cruise, let’s talk about something that can make or break your trip… your passport 👀✈️ Many travelers don’t realize that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Some countries (and cruise lines) can deny boarding if it’s too close to expiring—and nobody wants their vacation stopped before it even starts. Now, if you’re cruising closed-loop (port to port from the U.S.), a passport isn’t always required—you can often travel with a birth certificate + ID. BUT… I always recommend bringing a valid passport. Why? Because life happens. If you miss the ship, have an emergency, or need to fly back home from another country, a passport makes everything smoother and less stressful. Protect your peace AND your vacation—check those expiration dates early! 🛳️💼 #shesailstravel #cruisetips #travelprepared #passportready #travelsmart
