I keep hearing people say they remove cruise gratuities because “the cruise line keeps the money anyway.” But that’s NOT what the major cruise lines themselves say! They say these charges support compensation for crew, including people working behind the scenes. Bad unresolved service? Different conversation completely. Good service and you remove them just to save money?
