The “Exciting” Motor Boat Cruise at Disneyland-1987
This is a core memory for many nostalgic Disneyland fans. The Motor Boat Cruise was by no means exciting, but it was an integral part of many early Disneyland visits. How many of us remember riding this with Mom or Dad? Opened in 1957, it’s considered an “original” Disneyland attraction by many Disneyphiles. This was recorded before the much maligned 1991 Cruise to Gummi Glen and prior to its closing in January 1993. As I’m very sure that no one would sit through a video of this 6 minute ride in real time, I have taken the liberty of speeding this up a bit. Still all the “thrills” just a little bit faster. Seriously… Take one of my videos and do a search of what others have posted. With few exceptions, many of the channels that do what I do just upload the low resolution, faded color, grainy VHS or 8mm video that their Dad or Grandpa shot. I color correct, audio enhance, stabilize (when applicable) and upscale. I don’t upload anything below 1080p. The result is a very watchable and nostalgic video that will flood you with memories of a time gone by. Oh… and I don’t use AI. All voice overs are done by me. This isn’t like other channels. Not one bit.
