Cruise news today. A New York family is suing Royal Caribbean, claiming a mother was over-served alcohol before falling overboard during a Taylor Swift-themed cruise. 66-year-old Dulcie White disappeared off Allure of the Seas in October 2024. Her family says she was visibly intoxicated after being served seven drinks over six hours, despite having the cruise line’s unlimited beverage package. Cruise calls to Jamaica remain fluid as the island targets a full tourism recovery by December 15 following Hurricane Melissa. Ship tracker Othell Owensby reports 68 cruise calls are still scheduled through mid-December, with most visits planned for Falmouth, Montego Bay, and Ocho Rios. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel will perform atop Holland America Line’s Alaska-themed float during the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27. Cruise line stocks for CCL, RCL, NCLH, and VIK.
