Breaching, tail slapping and cruising along the coastline, these gentle giants make their way past Ningaloo Reef (Nyinggulu) on their annual migration, and they're a pretty good reason to look forward to the cooler months. Winter here also means sunny days and crystal-clear water, so between the water temperature and the whale sightings, it's easy to see why this is one of our favourite seasons on the Coral Coast.
