Alaska Cruise 2026 - Whaling in Victoria BC

Unfortunately, we really didn't see very much in the whaling department. This scenic tour was a big bust. They didn't use the "Bubbling" technique, no radar, no sonar, no satelite up link, no tracking of any kind except "Oh look, there's a whale way over there..." and then they head to it. The two people we spoke to who went whale watching in Juneau and Skagway showed us video of their excursion and it was AMAZING. They saw TONS (literally) of whales. I would suggest, depending on the time of year to actually go whaling in Alaska.
