Cruise news today. As an update to a story we first brought you Friday, Norwegian Cruise Line has clarified its recent changes to room service. NCL now says guests may order up to two meals per person per delivery from the all day room service menu. The nor’easter sweeping the East Coast continues to disrupt cruise schedules out of New York and Virginia. Carnival Sunshine is now set to depart Norfolk on Monday, one day late, after rough seas delayed her return. Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas skipped Bermuda for an overnight stop in Canada, while Symphony of the Seas remained docked overnight in New Jersey to wait out the weather. Norwegian Getaway is also stuck in NYC, delaying its departure and cancelling stops in Newport and Boston. The National Weather Service says seas near or above 12 feet should be expected off the east coast in the coming days. Virgin Voyages is teaming up with Google Cloud to bring artificial intelligence onboard , not for steering the ship, but for helping behind the scenes.
