India’s Airbound Unveils Next-Gen VTOL Drone 🇮🇳

India-based startup Airbound has unveiled a lightweight autonomous VTOL drone capable of vertical takeoff and efficient forward flight. Built using carbon fiber composites, the drone weighs around 2.5 kg, carries nearly 1 kg of payload, cruises at approximately 60 km/h, and can cover distances up to 40 km on electric power. The company also reports conducting more than 700 medical delivery flights for Narayana Health since January 2026 with a zero-failure rate.
