Carnival Sunrise 4th of July at Sea | Fireworks, Ducks & Celebration Key
Day 3 on Carnival Sunrise was such a fun 4th of July sea day as Carnival celebrated America’s 250th birthday at sea! We started the day hiding the rest of our cruise ducks, enjoyed sea day brunch, watched the holiday fun on Lido, caught the kids’ balloon drop, found a few ducks of our own, and had a special dinner in the main dining room. Then we headed up to Deck 10 for the ship meetup and fireworks near Carnival’s Celebration Key. The view from Sunrise was farther away than some expected, but the fireworks lasted about 15 minutes, and honestly, watching fireworks at sea surrounded by Carnival ships is something we will always remember.
