I don’t need a vacation from my kids #shorts

Turns out I don’t need a vacation from my kids. I need a vacation from the planning, the packing, the grocery runs, the restaurant decisions, the constant “what’s next?” That’s why I love cruises and all inclusive resorts. No meal prep. No dishes. No coordinating 47 snacks. No debating where to eat. No mental gymnastics trying to make everyone happy. Everything is right there. Food, activities, sunshine, space to breathe. And when the logistics disappear, I get to actually enjoy my girls. I’m not managing the moment. I’m in it. Swimming with them. Laughing at poolside dance parties. Saying yes more because I’m not exhausted from carrying the entire schedule in my head. That’s the kind of vacation I want. Not one away from them.
