Mini cruise on P&O Iona, with assisted boarding and special dietary needs. #pocruises

A little look at our first cruise on P&O Iona. It was a 2-night mini cruise to nowhere, sailing from Southampton at the end of October 2025. We chose this little trip to see how we would like cruising, and also to see how my mum would cope. She has mobility issues, as well as having very specific dietary needs. But we needn't have worried as the assisted boarding helped massively and the restaurants done wonders making the food soft and pureed enough for her. As you can hopefully see, we had such an amazing time that we booked another cruise whilst on the ship!
