Icy Strait Point was definitely a different kind of port day! There are gondolas from the port that take you to different areas—the red gondola goes up Hoonah Mountain, while the green gondola takes you toward the shopping, beach, and restaurants. We paid for a bus into Hoonah, met some locals, spotted eagles, and learned about this small community. There wasn’t a ton to see, but getting to hear from the people who actually live there made the visit worthwhile. 🦅 Then it was back to the Norwegian Bliss for some downtime before one of our favorite dinners of the trip—Teppanyaki! 🍱🔥 Such a fun atmosphere AND great food. #225travelagent #geauxbatonrouge #batonrougetravelagent #IcyStraitPoint #AlaskaCruise
