MSC is Building a Whole NEW PRIVATE ISLAND!
MSC Cruises is building a BRAND-NEW private island, and I couldn't be more excited! 🏝️🚢 During our honeymoon in July, we were visiting Ocean Cay, my favorite cruise private island, when we noticed something being built right next door. We had no idea what it was, but now the mystery is finally being solved! Meet **Sandy Cay**, MSC's newest private island in the Bahamas, expected to open in 2028! In this Cruise Detour, we're talking about everything we know so far about Sandy Cay, including what MSC has planned, the luxury experiences coming to the island, and some BIG changes happening at Ocean Cay. We're talking new dining options, family activities, an adults-only beach club, an expanded pier for two cruise ships, and a whole lot more! And if you've never experienced Ocean Cay at night, you're missing out! Between the overnight stays, lighthouse show, beach parties, and relaxing atmosphere, it's already one of my favorite places to cruise. But now I have even MORE questions. Who gets to visit Sandy Cay? Will it cost extra? And just how big are MSC's plans for this destination? Come along as we dig into everything we know so far! 👇 **LET'S TALK CRUISING!** Have you been to Ocean Cay? Are you excited about Sandy Cay?
