Why Do We Carry On Our Own Luggage When We Board a Cruise Ship?? #cruiselife

Why do we bring our own luggage on board when we board a cruise ship….well it simply pays to have peace of mind when you begin a cruise vacation. We have our luggage in hand, and can settle in to our cabin, and NEVER have to worry about our suitcases going missing. I’ve read so many stories of folks arriving at cabins later in the day, and their suitcases are nowhere to be found. Also, when disembarking, we are not searching through masses of other folks luggage, to locate our own. We easily walk off the ship and grab a cab onto our next destination. Lastly, we have never had any issues with finding our suitcases were damaged, when we handle them exclusively ourselves. It’s not much of a bother to bring them on, except once in a while, if the carpets have a particularly high pile, I do find myself a bit out of breath, when we eventually make it to our cabin.
