A journey through Asia, Australia and New Zealand wouldn’t happen without understanding the Immigration process and applying for all of the various Visas, required to enter each country. The cruise line assisted us with our first Visa for Japan, while we were still on the ship. The process was so simple, and Japanese Immigration agents were actually on the cruise ship with us. For Vietnam, China and Hong Kong, we were on our own, but learned the process pretty easily. Next cruise, we had many countries in a short period of time, and found our way through that process as well. The most expensive and difficult one was for India, and we hired a company to process that one for us. Happy to say our final New Zealand Visas have been approved and it feels like we are experts at the process now. #lifeatsea #slowtravel #immigration
