Royal Princess - Ketchikan Alaska - Salmon Ladder - Salmon Crepes - Totem Heritage Museum
Come with us exploring Ketchikan as we try Salmon Crepes, watch salmon try to get passed the stalking seals, make it upstream using the Salmon ladder to spawn and the Totem Heritage Museum. Today was a day of first, so glad we finally went out and explored these places. Salmon crepe wasn't bad but of course you have to like salmon. The salmon ladder is amazing, in the video you can see these salmon try to get upstream and it seemed like a lot of them used the ladder. A few of them just face planted into the concrete. There are a lot of stairs but if you have mobility issues you can get a ride up to Park Ave and go down a few steps to the salmon ladder. The Totem Museum was very interesting and educational. We like to learn about the areas were visiting. We really enjoyed learning about the local heritage and customs. Veterans are free as well as one guest to get into the museum. The ships generally offer an excursion to the museum but as you see, it is accessible by ground as long as your able to walk. Take the free bus back to town and it's easy.
