Day 12 from the Crown Princess and our bonus day in Cairns, Australia. We were meant to be in Port Douglas, however, that’s a tender port and so plans were changed. The Captain announced the evening before arrival, that with the impending rough weather, a 30 minute tender ride into Port Douglas would not be a pleasant experience, for those going ashore. In all honesty, Port Douglas is only a short distance from Cairns, so we were happy with the itinerary change.
