These are the views we traveled all this way for! It was an incredibly long day: Waking up early, having a final cruiseship breakfast, disembarking, finding our luggage and car, a short drive to Liberty Park, a walk, another walk, then a long wait, two ferry rides, two long museum visits, and then a several-story climb! And after this was another ferry ride and several hours stuck in traffic up to Rhode Island. But this moment made it all worth it, seeing Lady Liberty up close and personal. When the lawn filled with Canada geese, it was a bit of glee to feel at home among other Canadian visitors. And how delightful to see people from an incredibly diverse background posing with the statue and all she represents. Thanks so much for coming along on this ride.
