This is what Civitavecchia is like if you aren't going to the City of Rome | cruise port day
Hello! Today we are docked in Civitavecchia which is Italy's largest and busiest cruise port. This is the port that is closest to Rome (1 hour by car/train) and a lot of people love to visit for a day trip when docked here. Sadly, our time in this port was short as it was a turnaround day for a new sailing so everyone had to be all aboard by 3pm - so we decided to just have a look around the local town instead of trekking it to Rome! We didn't get up to tooo much, we had a look around and also enjoyed some wifi to reconnect to the world (we don't buy the ship wifi because it's so expensive) but that is why the vlog is so short! For next time, I will make an effort to visit some of the ruins nearby and even the thermal baths which are only a 10min drive away! Anyways, I'll see you in the next video - Ciao!
