Our first sail date was January 23 - 27, 2023. We are Disney Vacation Club members and stayed at Wilderness Lodge Copper Creek before the cruise. We almost always use Disney Cruise Line Transportation to get to Port Canaveral. Disney Cruise Line makes it so easy! They pick up your luggage from your room around 7 AM and the next time you see them will be outside of your stateroom on the ship. Our pickup time from the resort was 9:45 AM and we continued on to Port Canaveral from there. I was so happy to see our friends, Su-Lynn and Steve on the same bus! Su-Lynn and I have been friends on Instagram for several years and we finally got to meet in person last September at Disneyland. We arrived at 11:10 AM and were given boarding group 2. The Coast Guard was onsite and they were doing some maintenance so boarding started later than normal, around 12:15 PM. We were on the ship by 12:35 and started our cruise vacation with lunch at 1923 - Walt Disney side. We figured Marceline Market would be a little crazy during embarkation so we were glad to have a nice sit-down meal. Sean is a fitness enthusiast so we toured the fitness center and also the Senses Spa. I am a big fan of the Rainforest Room across all of the Disney Ships so I was very interested in seeing the space. The indoor part has a chilling room, a sauna, a steam room, a few showers, and about 10 heated stone loungers. The outdoor area had 2 large hot tubs and lots of outdoor seating available. Here is the pricing at the time of our sailing: Day Pass $79 (NOT AVAILABLE on Sea Days) 3-night cruise length $166 4-night cruise length $190 Pricing is per person and excludes gratuity We opted to do a day pass since we wanted more time to be able to explore the ship. You'll see more of the spa later in my Disney Wish vlog series. I wanted to be surprised with what theme we'd get for our stateroom and I was in total awe when I opened the door and saw Princess & the Frog! Our stateroom was 8022, Forward, Port Side. I thought the location was perfect because the Fairytale Laundry room was nearby and it was just 3 flights of stairs to get to the open decks. Dinner was at Arendelle and oh my goodness - the theming is incredible. You're there as guests to celebrate Queen Anna and Kristof's engagement. We enjoyed the food, especially the Sea Bass. I really wish they raised the stage higher and made it a little larger so that it would be easier for everyone to see. Our first day was filled with so much fun and excitement!
