We spent an hour being held hostage by a humpback whale in the early morning it was fantastic The sea is expected to be very rough over the next 2 days and nights, 6 – 8 meter swells with 50 knot winds. A bit of Information on Antarctica Antarctica is the world's southernmost continent, known for being the highest, driest, coldest, and windiest continent on Earth, and it is almost entirely covered by an ice sheet. It is a land of extreme conditions, and while it has no indigenous human population, it is home to scientific research stations and is a destination for tourists. The continent is governed by a series of agreements under the Antarctic Treaty System which designates it as a scientific preserve.
