Sailing during hurricane season means you never quite know what the weather has planned! 🌧️🚢 We were onboard the Disney Destiny for a Halloween on the High Seas sailing when a huge storm rolled in about two hours before departure and just kept going. The weather was bad enough that we actually stayed in port for about an extra hour waiting for conditions to improve. Instead of holding the Sail Away Party on the pool deck, Disney moved the entire celebration into the Grand Hall! I’ve been on plenty of Disney Cruises, but I had never seen Sail Away happen like this before.
