EV road trip to Coober Pedy: Day 3

Coober Pedy trip: Day 3 Breakfast roll and a top-up charge to 98% at the RAA charger at Spuds Road House at Pimba where we spent the night in Hotel Polestar in the cool desert air. Glendambo here we come! Cruising along nicely. Flew the drone at Lake Hart and then arrived at Glendambo with 75% and could have easily made it all the way to Coober Pedy but decided to check out and use the interesting modified charger getting 30kw. Thanks RAA! I'd like to see more of their 7kw destination chargers converted like this, even to 20kw. Got a Rockstar for the Popstar. Woohoo! We made it to Coober Pedy after driving 1,039km from Kangaroo Island. Mission accomplished, well sort of, still need to spend a night underground. Fantastic drive up from Glendambo through the desert country, although so many dead red kangaroos with wedgies and crows feasting. Regrets for not stopping to get footage of massive mining road train that pulled onto the road, or some arty shots of the wrecked vehicles on the road side. Maybe on the way back! Let's go and charge and find somewhere to stay as we are here a day early. Very happy Coober Pedy Experience Motel was able to fit us in for an extra night, so a bit of underground luxury after two nights in Hotel Polestar! Found the RAA charger at visitor centre, charged from 33 to 70, enough for around town for next couple of days. Also another sticker for charging board - Danger: Unmarked Holes. Dinner was a Yiros, chips and salad in honour of Coober Pedy's strong Greek tradition. Walked from the motel up to the Big Winch lookout at Coober Pedy this evening for sunset views, graffiti and random photos with my new Pixel 10 phone.
