Vista Balcony Suite 4116 Review Holland America Rotterdam Cruise Ship
Vista Suite BC 4116 on the ROTTERDAM is located about 8 rooms back from the staircase and bank of elevators. The balcony is unobstructed looking straight out but you will notice the life boats when sitting looking toward the rare of the ship. It's also close to the water which is to our liking. The bed is close to balcony door and the couch is next to bathroom. It has an adjoining room. We had very quiet neighbours so we did not hear anything from next door. The bathroom shower has a door and is quite large. The bathroom is also very bright. We booked a guaranteed Vista Suite and we thought we lost the lottery when we got room 4116 … or so we thought. When we booked the price of the guaranteed vista suite the price was the same as picking a balcony of our choosing. We have never been Suite people on a cruise before …. since it was only seven days we decided to gamble … maybe we could luck into a something unexpectedly great … if not the worst we could do was get assigned one of the four Vista Suites with the smaller balcony … which would be ok since the kids were in one of the four obstructed view balconies which are all located next the four small balcony suites. If assigned one the four smaller balcony suites we had a 25% chance of being next door to the kids, a 50% chance being on the same side of the ship and a 100% chance of being on the same floor at the same end of the ship. The cruise gods were not on our side. We ended up with room 4116 and it was not the one next to our kids room. It was still close by on the opposite side of the ship. To make a long story short it was perfect. We were close to the kids, close to the water, had a larger room and the smaller but angled balcony was perfect for this cruise. Since it was open on one side it opened up the magical views of Norway from our room, our bed and balcony. If you are interested in guaranteed vista suite this is the worst you can do. For us it was perfect. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out the Port videos I put together for our Norway ports on this Rotterdam cruise. Please Like Share Subscribe @AdventuresWithTodd
