You’ll see little blue penguins 🐧, fur seals 🦭, and even albatross overhead - all of it wild and on its own schedule. But it didn’t happen by accident. This is private, protected land, and the Reid family have spent decades restoring it, trapping predators, planting natives 🌱, and building nesting boxes into the hillside that the penguins come and go from as they please. 💚 A major contributor to guests numbers is which sails into Dunedin regularly each summer. Through their Local Partnerships programme, funds are raised that go straight into grassroots conservation like Natures Wonders.
